 On September 6 in Vilnius an Agreement of mutual co-operation between Democratic Alliance and Youth of Latvia People's Party had been signed.Latvia Peoples Party is one of the most influential political forces of Latvia which for today has 7 Ministers in Government, and is an active member of EPP. Having a high level of co-ordination of activity at an international level, YLPP and DA now took obligations basing on common ideological background to form close co-operation in strengthening and pursuing the values and principles that will help to foster democracy, strengthen youth policy, develop business and increase the living and cultural standards of the youth in both the countries, support and co-operation in pursuing their policy goals and, in particular, in the contest against the extremist-oriented Political youth organizations and their policies.
Among other points of agreement also marked: proactively lobby in the home countries and on the international scene, for the common interests of both organizations and countries.
From the comments of International Secretary of DA Anatolii Korol organization will continue to increase the level and quantity of bilateral cooperation with centre right political organizations of Europe.
